Tagaytay City—The Divine Word Institute of Mission Studies (DWIMS) launched its official website, as well as its official Facebook pages and YouTube page, during a short ceremony earlier today, March 17, 2024, at the DWIMS Manus Dei Hall.
The ceremony, which was conducted at the end of the Lenten recollection for the members of the DWIMS Alumni Association, Inc., and the DWIMS Tagaytay Chapter of the SVD Lay MIssion Partners, featured the launch of the DWIMS website and the social media pages of DWIMS.
The ceremony began with the opening remarks, delivered by DWIMS Director Rev. Fr. Samuel “Sam” Naceno-Agcaracar, SVD. In his message, Fr. Sam acknowledged the presence of DWIMS founder and first Director, Rev. Fr. Edgar G. Javier, SVD, who also currently acts as the Director for Research and Publications.
Through its new online platforms, Fr. Sam also emphasized the importance of communication and expressed his hope that the institution would maximize the potential of new information technologies in mission.
Afterwards, Mr. Juan Miguel Ala-Tolentino, DWIMS Communications Consultant, presented the new official DWIMS website, which is hosted on the following address:
